Dr Shannon Hood
Shannon began his counselling journey as a crisis call counsellor in 1996. This journey was interrupted with forays into Mechanical Engineering, Project Management and IT systems implementations.
Shannon then retrained in Theology, Psychology, Counselling and Psychotherapy. He is a Level 4 Clinical Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association and a member of their College of Supervisors.
Over many years as a Senior Consultant and Manager working with Deloitte, Shannon honed his consulting and facilitation skills, running workshops across the globe.
He is now a member of his local Country Fire Authority Brigade and continues his 20+ year passion for assisting emergency services personnel through mental health and wellbeing support.
